DSSSB PRT Eligibility Criteria


DSSSB PRT Educational Qualification:

For PRT (Assistant Teacher (Nursery)- Directorate of Education)

§  Candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary level of schooling or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board.

 

§  Candidates must have studied Hindi at the Secondary Level.

§  Candidates who have B.Ed. (Nursery) degrees from a recognized institute are also eligible.

For PRT (Assistant Teacher (Primary)- Directorate of Education):

1.       Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations-2002.

Or

§  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in elementary education from a recognized Board, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed).

                                                                        Or

§  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Education (special education) from a recognized Board.

                                                                        Or

§  Graduation & 2-years Diploma in elementary education from a recognized Board.

2.    Candidates must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary Level.

3.    Candidates must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE.

 

For PRT (Assistant Teacher (Primary)- New Delhi Municipal Council):

§  Candidates must have 12th Pass with 50% Marks (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST) from a recognized Board and 2 years Diploma in primary education / certificate course in ETE/JBT/DIET/B. El. Ed. from a recognized institution.

§  Candidate should have passed the CTET, to be conducted by the appropriate Govt. in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

§  Candidates must have passed Hindi as a subject in 10th class.

DSSSB PRT Age Limit:

Candidates applying for DSSSB PRT must be below 30 years of age:
